MJ Dean is a national phenom in the basketball community, earning recognition as a household name that fellow athletes admire and look up to. Known for his talent, leadership, and work ethic, MJ continues to set himself apart both on and off the court.

 

A student-athlete at Darlington School in Rome, Georgia, MJ excels academically while balancing his commitment to sports. He is also a dedicated member of New & Living Way Church, where he remains active in his faith and community.

 

Beyond school and sports, MJ finds purpose in his family’s entrepreneurial venture—their very own gym. While it serves as his primary training ground, it’s also a place for friendship and camaraderie. MJ takes pride in helping with the daily operations, from sweeping the floors and keeping the space clean to managing inventory and supporting his family’s vision.

 

On the court, MJ competes with the MDA Stars EYBL Nike basketball team, showcasing his skills at the highest level of grassroots basketball. He is also a two-sport athlete, representing Darlington School on the football field.

 

When he’s not competing or training, MJ values quality time with family and friends. He enjoys movie nights, bowling, swimming, outdoor adventures, and playing cards and board games.

 

MJ’s balance of athletic excellence, academic dedication, faith, and family-centered values make him a standout both as an athlete and as a young leader.
